Inspiration: Places for Scientists to Dream at “Space and Culture”

It would be amazing if architecture can influence the quality of science that is engaged in and produced by scientists living within the confines of that architectural framework. Does it at all depend on how sensitive the scientists are to their work environment? Or is it just natural that the inhabitants of a certain place interact unconsciously with the environment of the place that they spend more than 60% of their time in, and thus the dynamics of the architecture naturally affects the growth and functionality of its inhabitants?
